Monnett Gardens/ Monnett Hall
In our 4th EVP session we went outside Austin Manor to where the old Monnett Hall use to be. The building was torn down in the 1970's, but a garden was built to commemorate where the building once stood. Because the area is in close proximity to Austin Manor, the quarry and where Ruthie lived, we were hoping that if she was located nearby we might be able to contact her there as well. During our session the first 20 minutes or so produced little in the way of EVP's. Then for some reason, we started to get answers. Answers we didn't expect. Because we were outside the EVP's are fainter than usual, but with good multimedia speakers you should be able to hear what we heard.

evp session 4
While we don't know if Ruthie was ever killed (in one scenario)or institutionalized (in another scenario), the man responsible for her kidnapping and the murder of Trooper Conn was caught.
The spirits don't seem to realize that around a half mile west of our location is a set of railroad track splitting the ponds left in the quarry.
Although its faint due to being outside, we got correct answers to our questions. One of our team is a cop and two of us are deputy sheriffs.
All indications were that Ruthie was not a prostitute while in college. However if she was sold into "white slavery" as one theory suggest, then she may have become one later.

I don't know which male spirit we are talking to here, but this is one of the best and most accurate evp's I have ever heard. Ruthie was kidnapped May 4, 1937!
This spirit didn't identify himself, but he seems to think that Ruthie was a prostitute. While we don't believe she was at the time of her disappearance, one scenario about her disappearance states that she was after she was abducted. The court records from the Trooper Conn murder trial bear that out. How this spirit would know that is beyond us.
When asking this question we were wanting to know how many of our team members were female. Instead the spirit though we asking about them.
